The weather is finally changing, and it is time to start planting!
Peppers are a warm season crop that will grow in most areas. Red and green peppers are good sources of vitamin C, some vitamin A, and small amounts of several minerals. Red peppers have more vitamin A and D than green peppers. Peppers are good raw or cooked.
Eat them as a snack, use them to decorate food, or add them to salads and casseroles.
We make the growing pepper plants easy with our Pepper Growing Kits. Our seeds come in tins that are foolproof for both experienced growers and those that are missing green thumbs. The seeds come in a pop top can and all you have to do is pop the top and keep the soil in the can moist. Set the can on a window ledge for sun and wait for the sprouts to show. When plants are 3-4 inches high, transfer the plants to a pot or directly into the ground. I do not have a green thumb yet produced
more peppers than I knew what to do with.
Our sale lasts until Sunday 5/2/2024.
